There is no shortage of Christian content about money. Budgeting plans, debt-payoff strategies, sermons on generosity, books on contentment — the shelves are full. And there is certainly no shortage of secular content about real estate investing. Courses, podcasts, gurus, spreadsheets, late-night YouTube rabbit holes — you could study the mechanics of property for a lifetime and never run out of material.
But try to find something that takes both seriously at the same time — rigorous real estate education and serious biblical faith, in the same room, without one apologizing for the other — and you come up almost empty.
That gap is the entire reason Built to Bless exists. Not as a marketing line, but as a plain observation we kept bumping into long before we decided to build anything. This is the short, honest story of why we did.
Look closely at most Christian financial teaching and you'll notice it stops at a certain point. It's strong on saving, budgeting, and getting out of debt — all genuinely good things. But it rarely says a word about active investing, and almost never about real estate as a way to build and steward wealth.
Then look at most real estate education. It's often excellent on the mechanics — underwriting, financing, deal structure — but completely silent on values, ethics, and the human dimension of property. It will teach you how to maximize a return and never once ask what the building means to the people who live in it.
So Christians who wanted to invest were left with two bad options. Either learn real estate in a values-free environment and hope your conscience keeps up, or stay away from it entirely because no one ever offered a framework that fit your faith. We kept meeting people stuck in exactly that bind — serious about God, curious about real estate, and unable to find the two held together anywhere. Eventually the obvious question became unavoidable: why doesn't this exist, and what if we built it?
We're practitioners, not theorists. Everything taught here is something we've actually done.
Michelle brings hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of a deal: acquiring,
financing, and operating a portfolio of mission-driven recovery housing properties
throughout New England. She's done the unglamorous, essential work of making real
estate function in service of a mission, not just a margin.
And we didn't build this alone. Jubilee Church in Worcester, Massachusetts, our local faith community, shaped both the course and the vision through their input and partnership. This grew out of real relationships and a real church, not a whiteboard.
At its core, Built to Bless is a faith-based real estate education platform built around Kingdom Real Estate 101 — a course designed to take real estate instruction and biblical stewardship seriously at the same time. Not real estate with a verse stapled on top. Not theology that never touches a spreadsheet. Both, integrated, because that's the thing we couldn't find anywhere else.
It's also a community. A Christian real estate community for investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want to learn and grow alongside people who share their values — a place where Kingdom real estate isn't a strange combination of words but the whole point.
And it's built especially for beginners — people who are new to all of this and want to do their first deal responsibly, profitably, and in a way they can actually stand behind when they look in the mirror.
This is for you if you see yourself anywhere in here:
The Christian who's quietly curious about real estate but hasn't taken the first step yet.
The investor who's already active and is tired of going it alone — who wants a Christian investors community that shares their convictions.
The church leader or small group facilitator looking for biblically grounded financial resources that don't dodge the hard questions.
Anyone who has felt the tension between financial ambition and spiritual faithfulness, and wants a more honest framework than they've been handed so far.
If any of that lands, you're exactly who we had in mind.
We started Built to Bless because the gap is real and the need is genuine. People wanted serious real estate education and serious faith in the same place, and it simply wasn't there. So we built the thing we wished had existed when we were looking for it ourselves.
What brought you here — and what are you hoping to find? We'd genuinely like to know.
